In this session, Dr. G will guide participants through an introduction to a new and seemingly different approach to addressing school discipline issues. Restorative Practices, built upon a foundation of Restorative Justice, is for educators interested in proactively building positive school and classroom communities while dramatically reducing discipline referrals, suspensions, and expulsions. Dr. G will share practical implementation guidelines, explain how the process works, and relate real life stories of restorative practices in action.
