Welcome to West Sound Summer Institute 2015’s scheduling site! Do you have a ticket from Eventbrite yet? If so, great! Just wait an hour to start adding classes to your schedule, as the two systems have to sync up first. If not, please click on the "tickets" tab and reserve your spot. We look forward to seeing you at Bremerton High School in August!

Criterion 2? What do I Do? Session 4: Substance of Student Talk in the Mathematical Environment LIMITED

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Criterion 2 (Demonstrating effective teaching practices) can seem overwhelming. Join me for a 90-minute session on one indicator or all day to dive deep into this criterion. Appropriate for all grade levels; last session will be Math focused.

Session 4: Substance of Student Talk in the Mathematical Environment. Thinking like a mathematician is hard, talking like one is even harder. Look at structures and routines that will guide students to reveal their understanding, identify misconceptions and argue like a mathematician.

*NOTE: These classes can be taken individually, or as a series*
