With the emphasis on compliance and accountability, it can be challenging to prioritize time to take care of ourselves and nurture our spirits and energy. In this session, we will reignite this energy through learning about resilience and discussing tips from "The Heart of Teaching and Learning", a framework for schools to support children with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and also to help us process the secondary trauma we experience from hearing their stories. Come nurture your hearts! You must take care of yourself to be ready to care for others.
